Waterfall
On the way up to Mt. Evans there is a nice little stream with a waterfall. I had extra time before my appointment, so I used it to capture this waterfall. It wasn’t as easy as it looks, as I had to climb down upon a rock to get a better view. It was worth it. I used a ND Filter so I could take a long exposure and make the water look soft and dreamy. It works better than an iPhone!

A Lone Tree
The ancient tree is a Bristle Cone Pine, known to be one of earth’s oldest living plants. This particular tree grows alone, apart from the others, making it a perfect object to photograph. The views are magnificent in any direction. You can find this tree at the top of the tree line on Mt. Evans. If you visit, be sure to bring your camera!
