I love the sight of these bright red cycles around Denver. If you ever had a need for a fun way to get around town try them out. They are a little on the heavy side, but then Denver’s pretty flat, you can do it!

Next to the Ice with Colorado Avs
Last weekend I attended a special photography session rink side in the Pepsi Center. It was an action packed few minutes with my camera nearly glued to the window. The power these guys skate with is absolutely frightening! When the puck hits the wall it fires like a gun! Yes, it made me duck more than once!
Shooting sports is a whole new ballgame. Pun intended.

A View From the Tower
Hanging around with photographers sometimes helps get you into places you don’t normally go. Last weekend a fellow photographer invited a few of his friends for a tour of the D & F Clock Tower. I’ve been up here before, but at the time there were many others up there with me. This trip was extra special as there were only 10 of us. We still managed to get in each others way, but not nearly so much!
The views from the Clock Tower are amazing. At one point in history, this Tower was the tallest building in the country! Now of course it’s dwarfed by others.
P.S. Thanks for the invite Greg!
Pedicab
Transportation in downtown Denver isn’t limited to cars. You can opt for buses, light rail, cabs, bikes and even pedicabs. It’s a fun type of transportation that is readily available whenever there’s an event happening in the city. Actually I suspect pedicabs are available all the time, they are just more visible during events.
