Denver has wonderful old pianos positioned around the streets of Downtown. They are wildly painted and fun to photograph. It makes me wish I knew how to play!

Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge RR
Just outside of the Historic mining town of Silverton, the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge train makes it’s way back down the hill home. This fabulous train is beautiful in the fall with all the colors on the hillside. There are two trains that run each day. I was glad to be able to catch both of them leaving.

Colorado My Home!
Behind every image is a story. At this particular point we were climbing up Cinnamon Pass. As you can see by the road, it is not for the weak of heart. There were 4 of us, Pixel Chicks on an extended weekend trip to the San Juans to capture Colorado colors of autumn.
This image was taken in a rush, we were losing daylight and still had not reached the summit. It was a magnificent view that I will always remember.
Colorado Cattle Drive
I was working my camera trying to get a good image of North Creek Falls, when my friend, Irina shouted, “Cowboys!” I looked up and there they were driving a herd through the bush and up over this hill to another location. We literally ran with our camera’s to set up for a better view.
It was just an hour prior to this event when Irina had said she would love to go to Wyoming to shoot cowboys and horses. Her wish came true in Colorado!
