Welcome Home
A Statue of a Soldier stands on the Capitol steps looking toward the Denver City and County Building. Welcome home.
Night Float
Lit up floats lined the streets created ahs from the crowds.
Marching Night Band
The Festival of Lights celebrates the holidays with floats, marching bands and a very cold night parade. I enjoyed watching these guys boggie on by.
Paramount at Night
Sidewalk dining was a bit on the cold side tonight!
Pre-Parade of Lights
People started to line the sidewalks in anticipation of the Parade of Lights. It was bitter cold and the wind blowing down the street wasn’t my favorite part. Still we got there early like good photographers to claim out spot on the sidewalk.
We're Watching You!
These gentle giants worked up a sweat just before I took this shot. They participated in the Parade of Lights in Downtown Denver. As always the Parade was well attended despite the bitter cold and wind on Saturday night.
Of course while these guys were sweating, I on the other hand was chilled to the bone.
Maybe next time I should volunteer to pull a carriage around town. At least then I’d stay warm!
Bundle Up Baby It's Cold Outside
Sunburst Arch
Sundown is a great time to go exploring the city for different angles and images. I so enjoy the Boat House at City Park for it’s interesting architecture and great views of the lake and beyond.
