Riding the trail isn’t as romantic as one might think. The dust and dirt kicked up by the horses never seemed to settle. The day sometimes felt like night, until the horses passed. Then the sunlight would return as the dust settled.

Over the Platte
The City of Denver has been making a conscience effort to connect neighborhoods with recreation trails and bridges. Obviously it’s working. This bridge is a busy foot/bike path that connects NW Denver with the Riverfront and Lodo.
The Trail Welcomes all Who Dare to Follow
There are many hiking paths in Roxborough State Park. What I learned today, this one pictured is also accessible to those who prefer to ride rather than walk. Park Rangers have a nifty electric cart to transport folks to the cabin at the other end of the trail.
It is a beautiful location and certainly worth the trip.
Winding Road
A Beatles tune came to mind when I was taking this shot. The setting symbolizes the long winding road we take through life and the aspen trees that are all connected underneath the surface.
We are all connected as we journey down the trail of life.
