Clouds lay low and ominous along the Front Range as rivers swell and many people lose their homes to floods. The golf course seems to enjoy the moisture.
Vistas like this a common sights in Colorado, particularly along the Front Range. On a clear day, we can see for 100 miles or more. Climb to a high vista like this one, located just above the town of Castle Rock and one can watch cloud formations come and go.
It’s nature’s stage, one I never tire of watching.
Looking Southwest from Daniel’s Park one can see the devastation of a previous forest fire right next door to the private golf course, The Sanctuary. Today the clouds were looking rather ominous, making for a very dramatic shot.
