The view from the steps of the Museum of Natural History, overlooking City Park and the Denver Skyline is hard to beat.
A full moon rises over the Museum of Natural History as the Fountain in the Lake changes color by the minute.
Sundown is a great time to go exploring the city for different angles and images. I so enjoy the Boat House at City Park for it’s interesting architecture and great views of the lake and beyond.
Not many people know Denver has a Navy. Now you do.
I first spotted this scene when the water was perfectly calm and peaceful. It was reflecting the pavillion in a lovely inverse.
As I walked up getting ready to capture the image, a couple with a loaf of bread also approached.
You know the rest of the story. Bread and ducks make waves. Waves mess up the calm and peaceful reflection.
Oh well.
Maybe next time.
