Looks pretty fishy to me :0)

Good question. Another one is “how do they keep it nice?” This seems like the kind of thing that a certain element of our society would feel compelled to deface.

Also, if I may be permitted to embellish… This mural is titled “Confluent Peoples” by Emanuel Martinez, installed in 1999. Assumedly the fish, the geese, and the stork are some of the “peoples” of the Confluence Park area.

Thanks Bruce, that is a very good embellishment and much appreciated. I agree, with the exception of the bird damage, the murals are in great shape, thankfully.

Across the street I really like the ones wearing sunglasses. I took one photo of the three men but the middle man had too much glare. I need a redo on it.

Yeah, I like the people with the shades! Especially the scenes of the confluence area from different eras in the reflections!

And your’e right, extremely difficult to shoot.

Description

If you look at this as I do and sing the Little Mermaid tune “Under the Sea” you too will drive yourself crazy!

Found under the Speer bridge by Confluence Park, this mural is one of many master pieces dwelling on the concrete. I find such art amazing considering the medium on which is drawn.

How do they do it?
