<p>It seems one could just walk over an pet them, not advised even if they would let you get the close.  I&#8217;ve heard they are somewhat blind but have a great sense of smell.</p>
<p>I just know when I ride by on my bike they take cover as I pass. Like a well orchestrated symphony they pop down into their holes.</p>
<p>Guess I smell.</p>
