I loved this place the minute I set foot into it. The Hotel Teatro is very classy and a warm, lovely place to spend some time.
They Set the Arena on Fire!
After the light show, after the fireworks they torch the ground setting it ablaze! As the fire dies down, the spotlight focuses on the real stars of the show, the Professional Bull Riders!
Yahoo, ridem’ cowboys!
It’s goosebump time!
Welcome Home
A Statue of a Soldier stands on the Capitol steps looking toward the Denver City and County Building. Welcome home.
The Yearling
Standing on a big red chair The Yearling lives at the Denver Public Library. What a lovely place to study the lines and angles of architecture as the sunsets.
Colorado Mountain Man an Original
Making an appearance in the Arvada Harvest Parade is this delightful character, a Colorado Mountain Man. As he passed by I asked if was looking for gold.
Of course he said, “yes.”
Dumb question, I know.
Is there anyone who isn’t looking for gold?
My bad.
The Original Ranch at Highlands Ranch
Rocky Mountain High
One of my favorite places to go is here. It’s high on a hill in the middle of Highlands Ranch. It’s really hard to tell, but this location is in the center of a huge subdivision. The people who own homes adjacent to this spot must truly be experts on sunsets!
