May your 4th of July be filled with fun!
Babies of all kind are cute, but don’t be fooled. Their parents can be downright mean! Keep your distance! In this case I used a 400mm lens with 2x on it. I was safely far away.
With all four feet in the air, this mare galloped to keep up with the herd.
She was a star as marked on her brow, she was the one the others looked for and followed.
The blonde horse was leading the pack as they raced toward the end of the Great American Horse Drive. They were almost home and they knew it!

This little owl is so tiny, I posted this image with the trainer’s finger in it so you can see the perspective. Isn’t she a cute little thing?
I was fortunate to participate in a HawkQuest photo shoot last weekend. One of my favorite shots was a close up of an eagle. Upon close inspection I noticed this eagle has whiskers! Could that be so?
Halloween is coming and the ghosts and goblins are out in full force! Beware!
