Wintertime at Denver’s Four Mile Historic Park evokes visions of a past that intrigues me. The first settlers of our country were tough people who lived hard lives and help pave the way for us to live easier lives at the foot of these magnificent Rocky Mountains.

It would be fun to bring someone back to see how we live our lives today. I wonder if they would appreciate an iPhone?

Obviously our forefathers were an ambitions bunch. I’m glad they had their adventurous spirit, otherwise Denver never would have been settled. Then where would I live? N.J?
